The three plan a sting operation to infiltrate the small group of “art connoisseurs” by sadistically turning Jesse into a living work of art, but will it be enough to save Chicago from more vicious murders in the name of beauty?
Heh! This reminds me of a Baltimore Motorcycle Club anniversary I was hanging around at one time. By “hanging around”, I mean I was literally hanging from a frame that John setup and suspended me in chains in a horizontal position. They wheeled me out on stage and had each club member come up with a lit candle and pour a little wax onto me and then set the candle into the wax. By the end of the scene I was this huge hanging human candle holder. Those club guys gave me a big hug every time I saw them for months afterwards.
Ah, the life of an old school Leather slave, I tell ya.

That sounds amazing. How long did the scene take? i really like the image of a human candle golder. it sounds like an art.
I loved Master of Obsidian. I can’t wait to read the sequal.
I honestly only remembered it seemed like it took a long time because all the members came up. Suspension scenes are not actually that long to make sure that pressure points do not become a problem.
John was a suspension expert so I never felt I was in any danger or severe discomfort… well… except for the part where I ended up having to pull all that candle wax out of the strangest places.
I’m sure the experience is something i can’t imagine but it makes for a real interesting visual when think about it.
it will be interesting to read abot the art that they turn jessy into. The authors who write under Jamie Craig usually surprise me.

I was wondering what you think of Emma. Especially since from the previews of the next book it looks like she is going to be part of theit relationship.
