Guess what I got for Christmas yesterday!
Oh yeah, the Pig is packing it with eBooks as we speak.

Very pretty! And, as above… yes! I am on holiday till Feb, have read nearly all of Shelly Laurenston, several Jet Mykles and With Caution and Tin Star by JL Langley and a partridge in a pear tree, so what next?? PS my partner loved Blade Runner, not sure if it is as flash as yours though.

    I guess so.

Lucky man, I’m not allowed any new gadgets until my birthday in May :(

    Shiny!

Still want one, but I know that it is “want”, not “need, and right now I have better uses for shiny toy money. Most notably, Samsung’s CLP300 miniature colour laser printer, which I actually have a serious use for…

How’s that working out for you? Mine’s wicked cool, but I run out of battery all the time. Damn it.

I’m splurging with my next royalties cheque and getting myself a TX before we make our trip to NZ in May.

I usually read pdf, as I do most of my reading on the mac/pc, and when I have put them over onto my older tungsten e I’ve used the adobe pdf for palm converter (who knows if this was the right or wring thing to do). I’ve just been researching what software I can get for the t/x since obviously the whole convert to palm pdf is not the greatest, and thought I’d ask what some others were using. (I have a mac and a pc, although the pc is likely to become a mac running windows/emulator at some point)

Anne~ I use my t/x for some reading, and even though each and every page has to load individually and there is a lot of scrolling involved, I do like that little gadget in my purse. It’s so functional. Also very light weight and easy to use. There are times when my reader is just too damned heavy to lug around. I’m sure I’m doing the entire thing backasswards, but I got it up and running and I just upgraded the doc. program that came with it. Nothing fancy. I’m sure techiepig will have infinitely more useful things to say, but damn I like my T/X. When I sync to my computer (on those occassions I remember to do so) I throw on a book. Most recently, The Ties That Bind. Yum
