Going Down by Ann Somerville
From: LuLu
Derzo Einan wanted to help people, and for fifteen years he rescued others from fires, floods and natural disasters. But in the aftermath of a horrific event, he’s left unable to help anyone, not even himself, his gift of empathy now more of a curse and his career in tatters. Running from his demons, Einan finds refuge in a big city, discovering an underclass of helpless hopeless people even worse off than himself—and another soul as troubled and damaged as him. In saving one more person, will he find his own salvation?

Oh gawd, now I’m in for it….
(Remember, satisfaction guaranteed or your money back!)
Oh no worries your damn good, now I want you to finish this story and I want those sex scenes on my desk in the morning young lady.
::cough:: No sex scenes in this one. I’m sure your imagination can come up with more fun for two strapping sweaty men than I could in a million years.
And it’s been at least twenty years since I qualified as a ‘young lady’. Good grief, you’ve made me come all over a doo dah with that!
OK. You know someone has to say it — what is a doo dah and would we like coming all over it?
Sounds intriguing.
lisabea’s last blog post..Would Z ride this pony?
doodad/doo dah - flap, tizzy etc. Nothing like as exciting as it sounds. I was overcome with amazement at anyone calling me ‘young’ let alone a ‘lady’ :)
