What can be said about a horror movie that includes Kevin Bacon and giant man eating worms?
Pass the popcorn!
I mean, well, I’m not a huge Kevin Bacon fan really. He has always just sorta been there. Animal House, Quicksilver, and then Footloose where I guess he was supposed to be sexy or something. Anyway, when watching this movie just remember the next one he did was Flatliners where they almost killed Julia Roberts and that’s probably the best part of the movie.
So why this B Movie Comedy/Horror film Teddypig?
Because Kevin Bacon meets Fred Ward and slashy goodness happens baby.
I mean it! You will spend this whole movie amazed at the amount of screen time Val and Earl get in the cab of their truck just talking and looking deep into each others eyes and Fred always has this little smirk that you know Kevin just wants to smooch. Soon you will be just like I am… yelling at the screen “Kiss already and call Fred daddy damn you!”. Every fucking time. In fact by the end of the film you swear they are closer than Tom Cruise and Anthony Edwards in Top Gun.
OK OK… so Michael Gross and Reba McEntyre play a couple of white trash Idaho type gun waving freaks which is a character that I think Reba was born to play. Now there would be a cable show I would watch. She could accidentally shoot her crazy militia boyfriend and have to make a run for the border with her kids in tow while doing interviews on Jerry Springer. You know, a family comedy.
Anyway, an incredibly slashy Grade B movie that you should be able to pickup pretty cheap and just the type of home viewing most of you will love.

LOL! I love this movie. No thinking required, just good laughable fun for the whole family :)
Will now be forced to re-watch with slash goggles, though. What a hardship, sigh…

Tremors is hands-down one of my favorite movies of all time. What’s not to love about it? I watch it every single time I catch it on the boob tube.

Tremors is great! And let us not forget The Lost Boys, one of the gayest vampire movies ever! (Too bad Kiefer Sutherland pushes my gag button…and not in a good way.)
