The Apple vs Google smartphone battle is heating up and unless Apple changes course ASAP we know who will win. The introduction of the HTC Hero is on the horizon from at least two cellphone carriers with better service and coverage than AT&T and that as we all know is when the “real” war begins. The Android App Market is gearing up for battle on all open source code fronts and one of the first eBook Readers for the non-DRM ePub format is here with Aldiko for Android.
If you happen to hate AT&T as much as I do and will now do anything consumer-wise to make sure they are “the next AOL” by the time everything is said and done, while buying one of these Android phones to show Apple how badly they have miss stepped, then give Aldiko eBook Reader a try to ease the transition.
It’s all good, Stanza says they will have their version out shortly.
Apple had better dump AT&T and open the gates quickly or else… Remember that really effective Microsoft commercial about the price of Apple laptops next to theirs? Yeah, something like that.
