Sax Rohmer ~ The Insidious Dr. Fu Manchu
From: Many Books .Net
I know it’s not politically correct but I love Pulp Fiction covers. Gay Pulp Fiction, Lesbian Pulp Fiction, cheap Westerns you name it the covers are wrong but are so right. So thumbs up from the Pig to Many Books .Net for their free Pulp Fiction eBook selection. Thumbs Down from the Pig for not grabbing and showing the original covers in their listings.
The covers are the thing that makes me want to read the Pulp Fiction.

You’ll probably really appreciate the site’s redesign (or at least the listings with cover thumbnails):

I found a book called “Fantasy of the 20th Century: An Illustrated History” by Randy Broecker at a used bookstore near me. It has gorgeous pictures of old science fiction/fantasy magazine covers and pulp fiction covers, along with information about the artists. It’s well worth looking for.
I found “Gay on the Range” (http://www.gayontherange.com/) from the Rain on the Roof sidebar. That’s a fun site to look through. I have the new editions of some of the Man from C.A.M.P. stories, and it’s fascinating to see what the original covers looked like.
