Project Runway: All Stunned

So in the end I feel Lifetime handled a season 6 show premiere of Project Runway very well. I mean frankly this show was on the ropes and they did wonders in helping add a bit of it’s old pizazz back. Good job guys!

Did you catch the All Stars edition before the premiere? That was where all the juicy stuff happened.

OH MY GOD!

OK OK… first let me say I thoroughly disagree! WHERE WERE…

Christian V and Laura B? Where? How can you call anything All Stars without All the Stars?
Sorry, but I would have watched two hours of those two going at it. Bad Mommy and Baby Snarks.

So instead we got…

Jeffrey Sebelia – Who has dumped his baby-mama, grew a Sergeant Pepper mustache to hide behind and started a rock band *shocked… I am* and has shacked up with the female lead singer in the most likely “Next on a special A&E Intervention” way possible. Too bad his collection on this show only proved he has never gotten over his Japanese Nightmare. The last creative cheating thing he ever did. KTHXBYE Jeffrey.

Mychael Knight – Who changed the I to a why? and proved some things about this show never will change like his bad taste for example.

Santino Rice – Who continues to speak in loud obnoxious exclamations the whole show. Things like… Brilliant! Yards and yards of shiny metallic skin tight Lycra clothing! Tons of women will want to wear that! Yep, Santino is still the dirty nasty pornographic mind of fashion. Go figure.

Sweet P – Oh hush up! Remember Angela Keslar from season 3? Remember the stupid rosettes and ruffles she threw on everything?
Why Sweet P? Why did you make me remember her with the sad fru fru dresses you made last night?

Finally Daniel Vosovic – Won. Um yeah… won. With models that looked like they just got into a fight backstage thus explaining the ripped shredded horrible mangled clothing and all the best parts might have fallen off in the scuffle. Everybody kept going on about this one dress in the collection and I sat there with Jason going like WTF! Who cares? Remember those gargantuan Home Depot purses he was so proud of showing in his final runway collection on the season he lost? I felt the same way about everything he made tonight. I don’t get it and I don’t want to get it and not many people ever will buy it. As far as I’m concerned you should have taken Michael Kors up on that job offer Dan boy.

My three favorites for this episode were

Korto Momolu – Oh Korto! You were robbed honey. I am so sorry that you showed up and gave your usual style and class and good taste and made clothes people would want to buy despite how rigged this whole damn thing was. You should go home knowing you really should have won.

Uli Herzner – I don’t get the judges Uli. They ask you back but they hate you. One minute they pick on you for using prints prints and more prints and the next time they pick on you for not doing prints. Don’t listen to them honey. You have good reason to not ever come back. Make this all Project Run Away.

Chris March – Despite your obvious sleeping disorders and the fact you slept through most of the show. Honey, you still made all those overinflated egos look like the fools they really are. Fashion for you is something you dream up between naps and snack cakes and it still looks way better than anything Santino ever could hope to drool on during one of his manic periods.
