CompuServe 1983

1983 Apple introduces the Apple IIe $1,395.00 (64K Memory) and the doomed LISA $9,995.00 (1 Meg of Memory) and the doomed Apple III+ $2,995.00 (256K Memory)
So you cannot say every idea worked for them.

I had a C64 and was typing in programs from magazines. *sigh*

Hee hee – flashback fun! My dad’s an early adopter (IBM computer design engineer, no surprise on the early adopter thing) and we had an Apple the minute they were available. AND it got lugged in a suitcase on vacation and hooked to the tv at grandma’s house. Of course, the minute there was a PC available, my dad never looked back. :)
