All you Verizon customers have yet another choice in eBook reading on a Smart Phone. The Motorola Droid runs Google Android 2.0 and has a comparable processor to the iPhone and as an added bonus a little bigger screen going on which could be real handy for using Aldiko and reading your eBooks on.
If the budget is tight we all have to have a cell phone right?
If I was on Verizon I would definitely give this a look.
UPDATE! The Droid is getting some serious love from reviewers about the screen quality and reading.

I didn’t drink the iPhone or Kindle Koolaid. But I am lusting for that Droid. Spent an hour on the phone with Verizon figuring out how to change my plan just so I can buy one. In my opinion, it’s one of the best bargains out there. Assuming, of course, that it doesn’t have some horrible flaw.

had to add this little blurb I found on the website:
“Motorola and Verizon are also offering an accessory that mounts the phone in the car. When the phone is in this mount, it recognizes it is in the car and it provides a car-friendly user interface.”
I’ve found my soul mate.
