I know a lot of folks kind of look down on fanfic -- I can only imagine what our good friend David E. would say -- but it's a wonderful way to hone your skills in a supportive environment. Well, "supportive" depending on your fandom, I suppose. I've heard some tales LOL. It gets awkward when your name ends up in a sex scene and you're not involved. Sometimes, though... I break out that old zine and read the one with Jack in drag to rob a fancy party. And Sentinel! There is so much Sentinel stuff for a show that ran 2 seasons. Then again, there was no sub in that text. Sparrington fic is one of my rare indulgences.
