What is funny is I read Bobby before Loose Id. I love those Nifty Erotic stories and I mentioned something to Treva only to find out that Bobby was already on Loose Id.

Once again, I have Lisabea to thank for pointing out that The Syndicate was up on Jules Jones' website right before the holidays last year. It gave me quite a few hours of entertainment and got me to read several other of Ms. Jones' books. I've gotten so many good recommendations from Lisabea of books and authors to check out.

This is the only five faves list where I've read all the books. Good books--loved Amor en Retrogado.

Thanks for sharing, Treva!

Put my character down, woman, you'll get him all mussed up.

Given the conversation elsewhere this week about what makes for a romance, I should point out that the initial story arc for The Syndicate was split into two volumes by the original publisher ( a now-vanished micropress), and Loose Id retained that split to avoid confusion. Thus you do need to read the full story across volumes 1 and 2 to get to the "will you marry me?" scene and a clear HEA ending.

It's also a joint author series, and rather different in tone to my later solo books for LI. For one thing, romantic comedy isn't usually *quite* so blatantly slapstick...

Wonderful selections. Jack Dorm - one of my favourite series and I can't wait for Bobby to release JD 3 Bobby and Connor. Of the others - I loved both books by A.M. Riley and laughed my ass off with What to Buy for the Vamp who has Everything. I also loved Immortality Is The Suck and The Elegant Corpse by the same author. I guess I'll be checking out the free download of The Syndicate. :)

I'm afraid I haven't read The Wildling or Crossing The Line as yet.

Jock Dorm--lots of discussion on that one, for sure. I agree his voice comes shining through.

Great list Treva!
