Engadget: ASUS DR-570
Dear ASUS,
Remember when we last talked? You were supposed to have that dual screen eBook Reader/Tablet thing out by now running Windows 7. Remember that? Where were you at CES?
Oh look! Engadget is showing us yet another pretty picture of another supposed product you are making that is really close to being ready for market (You promise) that will supposedly “compete” with the Apple Tablet. I wonder if Microsoft paid you to say it will also run Windows 7 like they did HP? Since we all know this is more bullshit from the “also rans” crew showing just how far they have plummeted to the bottom.
Not that Microsoft has ever proved Windows 7 as working in anything like a tablet currently. You know with NO mouse and NO keyboard needed to be tacked on to actually do anything. Not that Android has or Apple has you know those “smart phones” that people use every day and they work. Well, yeah Android has that little patent issue with Apple and all but they did steal that pinch and pull resize from the iPhone.
I just wanted to say enough already ASUS you seem to be playing the game with us trying to “make believe” you could create a product out of thin air that could compete with Apple and yet you ASUS have only ever made the cheapest of cheap plastic junk.
What is this? Another Zune, another Palm Pre, another “maybe we might get the software working right before we actually have to prove we have something that works”. Sorry guys but your betting everything on a company like Microsoft who can’t seem to get Windows 7 out the door quickly enough while the German government due to security problems is telling it’s citizens to use Firefox or Chrome and not IE 8. Oops!
All Microsoft seems to do these days is sell more Apple Macs.
