Oh, good. I’ve been looking forward to more from her. Nice cover, too.

  2. Liz wrote,

thanks for this – luckily it’s available at All Romance Ebooks too – as Samhain purchasing site was down – or at least it was giving me issues this evening – I saw this when it was available and meant to get it – so thanks for the reminder!

  3. TeddyPig wrote,

Yeah I have had so many problems with MBAM recently that they don’t ever fix.

I waited for this to show up on All Romance eBooks so I had to remind myself to check for it today.

I’m afraid this book was almost a DNF for me. I didn’t find any chemistry between the protagonists and Cade and Brett spent all the time in the book in having casual sex with each other or Cade’s friend Jess.

  5. Heidi Cullinan wrote,

That is one wicked hot cover. Now, the next question was, does the writing hold up? But several of you seem to be indicating yes. Hmmmm.

  6. Teddypig wrote,

Well my TBR posts are just books I picked up that caught my eye.

Not a review of what is in them since I have not read it yet.

  7. Heidi Cullinan wrote,

Don’t worry, Teddy, I won’t hold you to it. Just going to poke and peek. Cover is mighty distracting, though. May cloud my judgment.

Skimming the excerpt. Such a hard call. I’m just so fussy. Will ponder. If you review, though, I’m going to be watching for it.

  8. TeddyPig wrote,

Would you believe I actually just buy books sometimes because I want the cover artists to get more work? Honestly, we need more better cover art.

I hope if one thing this site does do is point out how important the whole package is to eBook sales.

  9. Heidi Cullinan wrote,

I totally believe you, and it’s good practice. I’m at Dreamspinner, and I’m so spoiled: so far I’ve been Paul Richmond, Anne Cain, and the Paul Richmond again. There are some real stinkers out there.

  10. TeddyPig wrote,

This Kanaxa has done some good ones too. Hope they get more work from the exposure.

  11. Heidi Cullinan wrote,

That’s this artist, I assume? Yeah. It’s a good one, totally doing what it’s supposed to.

    Well-done blurb, too.

  12. Heidi Cullinan wrote,

Oh, hell, I just went and bought it anyway. You and your covers. But you’re right.

Teddy, I can’t find a contact on here for you, which is probably because I’m blind. But are you on DSP’s review book list? If not, buzz me.

  13. Nathalie wrote,

Hey there! I’m thrilled the cover is getting positive feedback. It’s one of mine, actually (I do covers under the “brushname” Kanaxa, to separate my other work, which is writing as Nathalie Gray). I hope Ava Rose’s book sells like gangbusters.
