Coffee Magic ~ Fog Lifter

Used to be all I ever drank was Maxwell House which for being in the Navy is sorta expected. Since I moved away from San Francisco where this stuff is made and available in every mom & pop corner market. Here’s a trick I learned… I could tell how bad off a neighborhood was in SF by how far I had to walk to a corner market that carried this stuff. The longer the walk, the more likely the neighborhood had seen better days. Castro, four blocks off the main drag and that shop was closing when I left. Mission, one block in any direction. SOMA, you are kidding right? None, no shops! Just saying…

I honestly have tried to switch over to far more affordable Duncan Donuts or find something else worth buying.

BUT NO! The minute my order of Fog Lifter comes in I am reminded what good coffee should taste like. Not a BOLD in your face “burnt to a crisp” cup of coffee like Starbucks or Peets. Just a combination of a good roast and a little nutty flavor from good beans. One thing I can add is everybody is different when it comes to their favorite coffee and Coffee Magic has other good blends like their Snob Hill which I think is for stronger tastes than mine.

I love Coffee Magic ~ Fog Lifter even if they have a craptastic name and it does cost a lot more than normal coffee off the shelf especially when you have to ship it. I guess that makes me a snob. I never thought it would come to this.
