From: New York Times ~ Critique of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
The success of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies kicked off a literary land grab, with publishers rushing spin-offs and clones of the quote-unquote original to press. (Note to self: Clone With the Wind? A Room of One’s Clone? A-clone-ment?) As for Grahame-Smith, he turned around and sold a novel called Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter to a large New York City publisher for a sum rumored to be in the mid — six figures.
I want to buy six copies of this splendid example of publisher greed and soak them in water. Then I will take this putrid pile of crap with me when the next Fucking Idiot Publishing Guru stands in front of a room and says that the “Big Six” have to make $15 an eBook to maintain the quality of books you have come to expect.
At that moment I will take this soaked literary equivalent of a fart joke and ram it into his or her face in mid – six figures – sentence so hard that I break his or her jaw before we have to hear another greed driven lie.
