You know, I went to a catholic high school that sat on a Benedictine abbey. Scandals broke there on average of every 5-10 years. The scandals were usually compounded by the fact that…yeah. The monks responsible almost always had previous complaints. And after they caused problems in our area, they were pretty much all quietly transferred to a sister abbey in the Bahamas.

Systematic. I was pretty horrified when several of my teachers were caught up in the latest scandal. It has certainly given me a hypersensitivity to the subject. I don’t care if someone’s “getting help”, you don’t put them in a god damn SCHOOL.

Argh.
