Verily, verily I say to thee, this day April 3rd 2010 the year of our iPad, shall thou join with me in the coming tidal wave of a media revolution. For functionality it provides many. So for some it shall simply provide the magic of it’s various and sundry eBook reader apps and for others encased within shall be the shattered hopes and dreams of every vendor who attended CES this year. The tears of the naysayers shall taste so sweet.
For this is not a small step soon to be repeated. This is something more.

Oh MAN. I wish, I wish, I wish. Is it pathetic that I considered selling my law books back early so I could buy an iPad? Forget originally intending to keep them all (unlike undergrad books) for when I have to study for the bar, I wanted to sell them before classes were even done this term lol.
But I guess I’ll have to get my iPad pron kicks from the rest of the blogosphere for now.

I kept all my books from tech school… Then I realized I was just hoarding old tech books. Why the hell was I hoarding old tech books???
Just so you know I have to wait for Tuesday Tax Check to finally show up to order my Cadillac 64 Gig 3G monster from Apple. Then wait for it to ship the end of this month sometime. So no immediate gratification for me. BUT TOP SHELF ALL THE WAY BABY!
I want to swing into the new iPad era with some style.

Haha, I have no clue. Da Pig is a hoarder. ;)
Honestly, if I didn’t have this huge MASSIVE obstacle in the path of gainful employment (passing the bar) I’d never keep all of these books, even if just for the reason I don’t have space.

You are such a fanboi of le Fruit.
Seriously though, to spark ANY interest from me, they’ll have to go back to the drawing board. The iPhone/iTouch is too small for me to read on. And now this gigantic iPad is too big for me to consider portable. Build me one somewhere between the two, continue to moniter apps for bugs and malware, but do NOT decide for me what type of content I’m allowed to have, and then, provided the Courier doesn’t rock the Casbah, we’ll talk.
But, in the meantime, I think you are going to have some fun with this one, TP.

Well Bev if you use the iPad for what it was made for then you do not need the junk you think you need. That’s just the plain facts.
You can’t run Photoshop on this anymore than you could on a Netbook or a Kindle. So obviously I could not say create a post for this blog on a iPad. But to read the blogs or news sites or twitter or get your email or Internet bank or keep your various club cards organized or buy and read eBooks or listen to music etc etc you get more functionality than either a Netbook or Kindle to have fun with.
Here is the base functionality of an iPad…
Browsing The Internet
Reading and Answering Emails
Balancing Your Budget
Showing Photos
Watching Videos
Listening To Music
Playing Games
Reading eBooks
