OK, well at least Dell follows through on their promises unlike HP or Microsoft.
Just the facts so far…
Adobe Flash 10.1 and Android 2.2 (Which is probably why there is no battery life mentioned here and mark my words do not expect very much in that area.)
5 inch 800×480 pixel resolution touch screen
1GHz Snapdragon processor
5 megapixel autofocus camera with dual LED flash
Front facing video chat cam (Which sounds like no one has any code for yet)
3.5mm headphone jack
3G/Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
Micro SD slot up to 32GB.
OK, all in all this sounds like a super duper smart phone/iPhone wannabe not a tablet contender.
Except for the battery life which I think is gonna be TERRIBLE since they are saying NOTHING.
Still this or maybe whatever ASUS is cooking up is the type of stuff I would be checking out as serious competition to Apple.
Oh! And this is hitting UK in June “not the US” leading me to believe this is all not really ready for prime time yet. I expect they want a dry run.
Microsoft meanwhile is said to be shit canning everyone Steve Ballmer can find to blame for his problems. Everyone but himself that is.
