WeTab

From: ITCuiko ~ WePad become WeTab and ready to leave

In my on going quest to find a “real” Google Android Tablet coming out on the market soon that might not get sued by Apple the minute it appears I will ignore the posturing of Verizon and Google over on WSJ since we want an actual product not another HP Slate or Microsoft Courier but I did find this.

***Just the facts***
WePad… Whoops! Now it’s a WeTab from Germany.

Intel Atom N450 processor
16 GB with Wi-Fi
32 GB Wi-Fi/3G, GPS receiver, HDMI Port
Bluetooth 2.1
Accelerometer
1.3 megapixel web camera
Card reader
2 USB ports

And THAT’S NOT ALL! IT HAS AN INCREDIBLE 6 hours of battery life! Wow!

449/569 euros in Germany with sales scheduled to begin in July

So this will probably mean yet another specialized version of Android OS and yet another hardware platform that will have problems updating the Android OS. A new Android problem that is now playing out across the huge variety of hardware Android has been hacked on. I am sure customers are going to love finding out they have to buy new hardware every year to update.
