Borders eBooks For Android

Well it looks like Kobo will build Borders eBook Apps for them but Kobo does not share the ability to open the Borders eBooks you buy. So be aware of that.

Kobo also does the Whitcoulls app for people living in New Zealand and the Australian version of the Borders app, and there is Australian and New Zealand content on the Kobo site. I buy from Kobo and Whitcoulls and it is annoying that I can’t combine my eBooks into one library, which is why I use the TXTR app for my DRM ePub eBooks. At least I can amend the title and author details when I use TXTR. The annoying thing about Kobo and Whitcoulls is that there is bugger all content available for NZ buyers, and possibly just as bad for any buyers from Australia. I could go into a bookstore and buy or order the print version of pretty much any book, but due to geographical restrictions I can’t purchase the eBook version.
