From: The New York Times ~ E-Books Top Hardcovers at Amazon
for the last three months, sales of books for its e-reader, the Kindle, outnumbered sales of hardcover books.
In that time, Amazon said, it sold 143 Kindle books for every 100 hardcover books, including hardcovers for which there is no Kindle edition.
That’s all well and good for your typical soundbite.
My question is… Has there been anything out lately that people wanted to buy in hardcover?
Could just be there is nothing new out anyone particularly wanted.

I can’t tell you the last hardback i bought from Amazon. It was probably used.
The last hardback i bought was “Filthy Shakespeare” from the $1 clearance rack at Borders.

That was my thought as well. I don’t know anyone who buys hardcovers anymore.
