Dorchester Publishing

Word on the Absolute Write thread is Dorchester is now eBooks only. I wonder if their rates are anywhere near as good as Loose Id or Samhain? Since the traditional publishers are now entering the realm of the ePublishers who have been successfully running this type of business model for a while now.

  1. Frank Watson wrote,

A Comment on Dorchester Publishing’s Passing:

Electronic books do not exist — the instant the power goes out.

They may never be lent to a friend — ever.

The publisher (and the retailer) will know the name, address, phone number — and credit card number — of each and every person who buys one.

They will never — ever — be available at a second-hand book store.

    Progress?
