Now an eReading App where you can read all your old and new Adobe ePub and Adobe PDF with their DRM intact. YES! Options I like!
I hope people like All Romance eBooks gets a hold of them for making really easy sales through the app.

The look and feel of Bluefire is much better than that of Txtr. With Bluefire it is definitely easier to transfer eBooks to my iPad and iPhone via iTunes, and I like the fact that you can sort by Author, Title or Recent. However if you sort by Author it doesn’t appear to then sort by title.
The one main thing I don’t like with Bluefire is that there is no editing available. Despite the tiresome process involved in loading books on to the Txtr app, I can at least amend the title and author details. I like to be able to have my eBooks listed in reading order so I like to be able to amend the title by adding an alpha/numerical code at the beginning of the title to denote the series and book number in the series. I can do this using Stanza and when looking at the book list for an author the titles are listed in alphabetical order. It also means that I can load the any anthology more than once so that I can have the anthology listed under each author who has contributed to the anthology. I have been able to amend the metadata for my DRM ePubs using Calibre and then load on to the Bluefire app, but have only had limited success and the book covers do not always transfer across. At this stage it is too much trouble to do when I already have my Txtr process sorted out. I’ll just have to keep an eye out for updates to Bluefire and hope that at some stage some sorting functionality will be available.

(from Bluefire) – We had planned to add meta editing at some point, but we’ve been surprised at how many requests we’ve gotten for that. So it is being moved up our priority list. Might even make our next update in a couple weeks. If not, definitely a few weeks later. Thanks for taking time to post the comments. We are listening.

Yes meta data editing is important due to how few ePublishers understand it’s importance to those of us that have more than a few eBooks and really need to be able to sort them.
I like the way iTunes allows you to sort on meta data in a grid format but unfortunately they forgot to include that view on the iPad in their iBooks app. So they have a nice fancy shelf view but forget that most people will want a simple spread sheet format when they get a lot of files.
There is where your app could excel easily is to replicate and include that functionality. A simple spread sheet type view with ability to sort and edit based on meta data.

thanks for your comment Micah. I’ve started transferring the occasional book to the app and I’ll be keeping an eye out for any updates to Bluefire.
