Caught in the 80s some where between The B-52′s and The Bangles there were three little girls with one big huge heroin addiction who called themselves Book Of Love. Now drug problems never kept Depeche Mode from having outrageous success in the rehab wing but for some reason these ladies never quite made it career wise.
I could swear up and down and tell you to get every one of their albums so as to not miss a note but I would be lying my ass off because really all you need of is a “best of” album.
Look for candy coated songs like Boy and I Touch Roses and Alice Everyday and You Make Me Feel So Good. Those were the high points for Book Of Love and are perfect songs to listen to on those bright sunny days with the windows wide open.
It’s not my fault
That I’m not a boy
It’s not my fault
I don’t have those toys
I’m not a
Boy
