“The President has been crystal clear that the Administration is moving forward with the repeal of ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ quickly and efficiently,” she said. “However, it still remains the law. The White House, including the First Lady and Dr. Biden, look forward to working with the families of gay and lesbian service members after certification occurs and repeal goes into effect.”
Nicholson, from Servicemembers United, complained in his statement that “[t]he First Lady’s office has used the continued enforcement of ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ as an excuse to exclude us, even though they know that ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ does not apply to the civilians who work at their advocacy and service organizations.”
“Many straight organizational representatives have been invited to this event, including some with few or no military families in their constituencies,” he added. “Yet our thousands of gay military families are shut out from being represented today because of nothing but lingering political homophobia. Gay and lesbian military families should not have to fight this hard just to stand in the back of the room in 2011.”

Let’s face it after what Obama just did on that budget battle I have no respect for the man whose whole shtick seems to be to compromise, corrupt, and concede our very rights to be treated as equals in this country to the worst inhumanly inane bullshit ever to come from the extremists we call Republicans.
This is simply not what I voted for, this is not how I want to be treated by my President, and any effort made by the White House is simply to appease the worst of us and hand the voters in this country nothing but empty broken campaign promise after empty broken campaign promise while keeping their hand firmly planted on that bible while they keep swearing to be our fierce advocates. It’s simply another Mirage I cannot continue to believe in because I want some water.
And no I do not understand and I do not really want to know what you were thinking you bunch of fucking DC hookers go take another puff from your crack pipe. I had few doubts that Obama hates us netroots folks since that one comment he made was his most unguarded moment on record but I can only guess this publicly proclaimed snub was to make sure we all knew with a burning certainty how disturbed he is by our posts about him and his ongoing record of failures.
I do not mind being the slow kid that gets laughed at for not getting the joke but I still think it was not that funny to begin with and you can spin those politics of being tired of voting for the lesser of two evils because it is still voting for evil anyway you want to Oprah.
Can’t you feel the shame? This is not some type of voter remorse this is out right disgust and a promise to not do that ever again.

An interesting attitude coming from people who just a few decades ago would have been forced to drink from a “coloreds only” water fountain in our nation’s capitol and ride in the back of the bus in every state in America’s southland.
But I think Kobe Bryant who has talked with the president several times now best summed up this discussion today…
