From: CBS News ~ There’s spam on your Kindle!
So it looks like people are gaming the Amazon self-publishing system with amazingly cheap garbage eBooks that are titled exactly like the best selling titles.
I see right now there is The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest (Wiki content for your Kindle) which is probably very different than the bestselling The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest. So I can see this being an issue especially if these scam books were to somehow get listed first due to their lesser price thus obscuring the actual eBook you wanted to buy.
So that does sound like something people should be aware of before clicking the ever easy to use “Buy It Now” button. I bet ten to one the next rendition of this gaming the system will be something like similar titles and similar author names just like those porno websites setup only to get people who type in the wrong name.

Not of course with so famous title, but I noticed the same with some LGBT titles and authors:

I alerted both authors than publishers and I think they did something since the month after I didn’t notice it again
