The Woodshed Lounge Charlotte NC
Jason and I decided to do a Ikea run to Charlotte on Sunday and with a 4 hour drive we made a night of it so after shopping we went down 85 to The Woodshed Lounge. It’s a hard to find dive bar sure but it’s also one of the most customer packed fun gay bars in North Carolina. No dance floor or twinks to be found here just lots of locals having a good time in what looks like a huge lopsided flea market shack on the side of the highway. Then just down the same back road we found Miguel’s a dive mexican restaurant with great food. There was also a cheap motel located right between them so I am happy to say we will be back to visit with it being so convenient and fun and right down the highway from Ikea.
Nothing like some quick retail therapy and a good cheap dive bar and a nummy mexican restaurant right next door for a fun weekend getaway.
