I am not that big about cars. I drive but my world is not focused on what car I own. Anyway, in all my driving experience there have been only two cars I swore by as being “fun” and that was the original Mazda ~ Miata which unfortunately had absolutely no cargo space at all but was probably one of the best handling peppy cars I ever owned. Of course Mazda had to go and fancy up the Miata turning it from cute affordable and perky into an over pumped over inflated and over priced mess.
Same thing with the Honda ~ CRX SI which had great handling and great power and great gas mileage and a great price tag to boot. They killed it and made into some half hybrid half commuter thing that no one wanted or cared about.
So after spotting this new Hyundai ~ Veloster I think we have yet another “fun” car for those in the know and again it is affordable and is said to have great handling and great gas mileage reported at 40 MPG. You can slap down the back seats and haul as much stuff as one of those old Toyota pickups could carry. We are talking huge cargo space potential in a hatch back just like the CRX.
You have got to see this thing in person like I did yesterday. I want one bad and I just am not the type to care about cars.
