As my readers might know we had a recent little fire in the laundry room which also happens to be the master bathroom in our house. We had one of those cheap-o washer/dryer stacks built in models that the dryer decided to try and burn the house down.
Lucky for me I was in the house. Unlucky for me I did not notice anything nor was there any alarms till Jason came rampaging through the front door screaming something about getting the fire extinguisher.
Then the alarms went off. Only then.
Jason put the fire out by throwing the clothes into the shower and turning it on and I proceeded to yank the stupid screaming built in alarm system we lost any information about the code sequences long ago off the bedroom wall and cut the wires finished over fuck off alarm company that is never there and your stupid professionally installed alarm system we never use and does not really work anyway.
So for Jason’s birthday, after he throughly checked out all the online reviews on these suckers, we went and made the big purchase I am sad to say.
From Best Buy. On Black Friday. We were in and out of there in oh 20 minutes I think. Amazing!
Because Best Buy has never ever once let us down in their return or repair warranties so we got a four year plan man. So there you go in a nutshell. Because Best Buy have treated us so well with our old PS3 and several other pieces of equipment we have bought from them over the years they actually made some appliance money from us purchasing a new LG washer and dryer set.
These are small enough to stack in our over sized upstairs bathroom utility closet and yet they look pretty slick if you ask me. Front loader washers are always hard to get used to but you have to simply use less soap and less clothes per wash is all.
I hate those huge ass curvy ones they got now that cost over a thousand each and NO, JUST NO! I will not spend over 2 thousand dollars on fucking laundry equipment… I HATE LAUNDRY! I HATE EVERYTHING ABOUT LAUNDRY! AAAAAAAAAH!
Why the hell would I spend so much money on it? It’s not a car, it’s LAUNDRY!

I do so much laundry. My year old washer/dryer are in storage and I miss them. They were practically perfect in every way.
